Indonesian Red Cross National Headquarter (PMI)
Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in cooperation with The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking a suitable candidate to facilitate and to give assistance to the PMI Dissemination and International Humanitarian Law program.
International Humanitarian Law or Legal Officer (Code: IHL-LO)
(Jakarta Raya - Jakarta Selatan)
Responsibilities:
* To facilitate dissemination program and be a facilitator for internal and external target
* To analyze the application of IHL and other Red Cross issues
* To support monitoring and evaluation of Red Cross dissemination program in national, chapter and branches level
* To support the implementation of the Emblem Laws
* To design IEC and develop materials and to make sure the process of producing, distributing and disseminating
Requirements:
* Indonesian Nationality
* Male/female, max 35 years old
* Law/International academic background education (understanding The International Humanitarian Law is preferred )
* Knowledge and Interest in humanitarian aspect
* Excellent in writing and speaking skill both in Indonesian and English
* Good understanding of Internet, MS Office
* Pleasant personality and appearance, Outgoing, excellent interpersonal skills and good networking
* Able to working under pressure, works efficiently with tight deadlines and/or immediate needs
* Willing to travel outside Jakarta anytime
* Additional Information
o Initial contract with PMI will be for 1 year contract, starting date is as soon as possible
o Rewarding will be according to PMI conditions and including salary, travel allowance, health insurance and training opportunities. Salary rate will be discussed during interview
o The IHL-Legal Officer will be based at PMI NHQ in Jakarta
