Job Vacancy PT SGS Indoensia - AFL TRADE CHEMIST (BANJARMASIN)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform to sampling knowledge, chemical and physical test required for quality assurance and quality control of processes and products.
  • Perform to maintain schedule purchase request for chemical and consumable.
  • Perform to calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Perform to control Documents related to daily activities
  • Maintain HSE to achieve SGS standard.
REPORTING
AFL Trade Lab Chemist supervisor

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform analytical test
  • Ensure the accuracy and correctness of test prior to issuance report
  • Compiles and analyze test information to determine operating efficiency of process or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Maintenance of equipment and housekeeping in the laboratory.
  • Carry out calibration of responsible laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain laboratory records.
  • Monitoring, controlling and recording of environmental condition as appropriated.
  • Perform administrative work for laboratory such as purchase request, HSE related, daily report, weekly report, monthly dashboard.
  • At all times, adopt a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS employees and clients, in line with SGS policies and procedures
  • At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

PROFILE
  • Education: University Degree and Majoring in Chemisty or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years operational experience in related activity

  • Applies judgment and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Good communication, with good spoken and written English
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Proactive approach in solving problem and ability to work as team
