Reporting to the Asset Protection Superintendent, this challenging and exciting position will be responsible for the continual development, coordination and implementation of the BHP Billiton Crisis and Emergency Management and in establishing and continuously improving the sites preparedness to respond to any crisis and emergencies. Responsibilities include facilitating the field response teams in training, drills and exercises including reporting and monitoring of all emergency related activities on site and across the CCOW. The incumbent must ensure all HSES and security systems and processes are implemented, practiced and maintained in an efficient manner.

Specific duties will involve ensuring that the BHP Billiton Crisis and Emergency Response plan, procedures, team and facilities are always prepared to respond to any emergency to protect life, environment and company assets. The Emergency Response Coordinator must also be actively involved in investigations and carry out regular reviews of the emergency plan and any other activities that require a crisis and emergency perspective. There will be a requirement to liaise with emergency services, law enforcement, community, NGO, client representatives, contractors and local regulatory agencies as well as consultants

To be considered to this position, at least be a graduate from University with a degree in relevant fields. At least 3 years experience in an emergency response and training role. Good communication and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (oral and written) are desirable. Excellent computer skills and a sound
knowledge of mining, construction, oil and gas or similar industry. Must be a team player with above average man management and leadership skills. Willingness to learn, work hard with diligence, honesty, high motivation
