Sharing Pengalaman Test Psikometri Pertamina Online Tahun 2009

Menurut saya sistem seleksi Pertamina kali ini tidak memenuhi validitas pengukuran dikarenakan sbb:

1. seleksi dengan sistem online tanpa pengawasan sehingga bisa dikerjakan mereka yang tidak berhak atau bahkan dikerjakan lebih dari satu orang (keroyokan);

2. Dengan tanpa pengawasan ada hal yang neh yaitu peraturan tidak boleh pakai kalkulator, ini aneh karena ada larangan tanpa ada pengawasan sehingga secara psikologis justru artinya menyarankan (orang yg sebelumnya tidak berpikir untuk pakai kalkulator jadi kepingin pakai krn tidak ketahuan);

3. Dalam suatu pengukuran suasana harus tenang/kondusif, lalu komputer punya spesifikasi tertentu dan ada fasilitas cookies dsb, hal tersebut sulit dicapai karena rasa tenang di internet yang umum misal di warnet maka itu diluar kontrol dan bukan tanggung jawab peserta untuk membuat tempat umum jadi tenang karena berprofesi dlm bidang assesment psikologi (15 tahun) dan setahu saya hasil pengukuran tidak valid bila suasana fisik dan psikologis tidak mendukung misal suasana rame, ketakutan akan resiko komputer hang/listrik mati, ada perasaan tidak nyaman karena merasa banyak yang berbuat curang sehingga mengurangi peluang diterima, dll

4. Ada yang aneh juga dimana dikatakan dalam tulisan email dari Pertamina di bawah ini yang mengatakan bahwa seleksi ini “Data yang dikumpulkan selama sesi ini hanya akan digunakan oleh Pertamina sebagai bagian dari proses rekrutmen lulusan baru dan untuk tujuan penelitian” kalimat tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bukan sekedar seleksi namun juga penelitian aneh bukan?

5. Ada juga kalimat yang mengatakan bahwa yang lulus tahap pertama (tanpa pengawasan) masih akan dites tahap kedua dengan pengawasan. Seolah-olah menyepelekan tahap pertama hanya sebagai penelitian semata, padahal memakai sistem GUGUR dimana kalau tahap pertama GAGAL tidak masuk tahap kedua (maksud tersiratnya adalah “biarkan tahap pertama tidak diawasi dan mereka curang/tdk valid, karena mereka yang curang dan lulus pasti terhadang tahap kedua yaitu seleksi dengan pengawasan dan pasti tidak lulus”). Ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem seleksi ini secara logika tidak nyambung, kenapa demikian? coba kita gunakan logika bahwa dengan seleksi tanpa diawasi dan tidak bisa dikontrol keamanan, kenyamanan, ketenangan dan kejujuran maka bisa jadi mereka yang lulus seleksi ada yang curang dan ada yang tidak lulus seleksi karena nilainya kalah dengan yang curang padahal sebenarnya memenuhi syarat (berarti ada yang dirugikan) dan ada yang diuntungkan yaitu yang curang dan berhak ikut tahap selanjutnya.

6. Dengan uraian nomor lima di atas bisa ditarik kesimpulan bahwa tes tahap pertama dengan online bukan menyeleksi berdasarkan kaidah seleksi namun hanya sekedar memperkecil jumlah peserta untuk tes tertulis tahap kedua dengan pengawasan (penghematan biaya dari 50 rb orang yang dianggap lulus seleksi administrasi dan kalau nanti yang lulus cuma 20 rb maka ada 30 rb yang akan dibuang setelah diombang-ambing dengan ketidakjelasan pengumuman awal dan simpang siur masalah email dan SMS, sungguh tidak adil dan tdk manusiawi).

7. Kalau memang jumlah peserta mencapai 80 rb orang menurut saya lebih bijaksana kalau seleksi administrasi yang diperketat agar seleksi tahap tertulis benar-benar berkualitas dan sesuai kaidah seleksi (kesannya adalah ini mengagungkan dan mendewakan Sistem Informasi yang solah-olah canggih dan konsultannya sepertinya adalah konsultan IT dan tidak menguasai substansi seleksi). Ini nama besar PERTAMINA dipertaruhkan.
